On November 7th, Liu Ming, Director of the Social Development Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, and his delegation conducted research at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.         Liu Ming and his delegation visited Ningde Times Future Energy (Shanghai) Research Institute, Shanghai Tangfeng Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and the DaLing Bay Science and Technology Innovation Strategy Source Functional Zone, and had in-depth exchanges with researchers. Subsequently, we visited some student dormitories and conducted on-site inspections of their accommodation conditions to understand the planning considerations and difficulties faced in the next stage of dormitory construction.

        Liu Ming pointed out in the survey that the construction of industry education integration innovation platform is an important measure to realize the organic connection of education chain, industry chain, supply chain, talent chain and value chain, which meets the overall requirements of the integrated deployment of education power, talent power and science and technology power, and also plays a positive role in promoting the construction of science and innovation parks and serving local economic development. The National Development and Reform Commission will actively support Shanghai Jiao Tong University in building relevant industry education integration innovation platforms, and hopes that Shanghai Jiao Tong University will continue to make greater contributions in cultivating urgently needed talents in the industry and tackling key technologies through the new paradigm of industry education integration. Dormitory construction is closely related to students' learning conditions and educational quality. The country attaches great importance to this issue and will actively study and support difficulties in dormitory construction.
